2005-2011, UK, USA, Singapore, Poland, Hong Kong. Ages 3+

Billy has everything a young goat could need – and more besides. On New Year’s Eve, Billy’s parents tell him about the legendary Snow Dragon, who will bring him even more goodies during the night.
But when Billy bumps into some wolves in the woods, New Year’s Day seems a long way off. Find out how Billy escapes – and whether the Snow Dragon will bring him a present. Has Billy been naughty or nice?
Story-telling, comedy and songs create a magical, mysterious world for everyone aged 3 and up, from the company that brought you The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom.
‘If you are a kid, if you have kids, if you ever were a kid, go and see The Snow Dragon.’ (Three Weeks )

… The Snow Dragon is Tall Stories at its finest. Clear, concise storytelling, fun songs you’ll be humming for weeks after, and a tale all children can relate to…
The List
Billy is one spoilt kid. He bullies his friends and thinks only of himself. In the good tradition of children’s theatre, by close of play Billy has learnt that kindness brings its own rewards.
Tall Stories have gathered a loyal audience of under tens with their polished performances and well-crafted tales. Children and adults won’t be disappointed with this year’s offering either as it includes wonderfully light acting, foot-tapping songs and some moments of pure magic.
The three cast members work together to create a fine ensemble piece, but huge hurrays must go to Kai Simmons’ hedgehog – as finely drawn a piece of animal acting as you will see all festival.
The script rolls merrily along, punctuated by catchy songs and comic asides. The appearance of the Snow Dragon at the end manages to surprise and entrance. A perfectly charming children’s show that manages to keep the older audience members entertained too.
The Scotsman
If you are a kid, if you have kids, if you ever were a kid, go and see ‘The Snow Dragon’. The three performers are excellent and fill each character with life through their highly expressive faces and varied vocal skills. Foot-tapping songs and smooth dance routines combine with well-constructed scenes to present a very enjoyable new take on a classic fable story. The simple moral of the story, one we should all take to heart, is allowed to speak for itself without being thrust upon the audience. This show is a must for children, parents and anyone involved in children’s theatre. Oh, and probably the rest of you as well.
Three Weeks
The perfect Christmas show for three to six-year-olds. This production is bursting with energy, catchy tunes and audience participation that will not intimidate your three-year-old.
